I watched it also on tv this morning and thought how alive he looks, in a way he does live on.

I have a picture of a guy moving his furniture on a bike in A'dam, let me see if I can find it for you!! You live in a fun city!

Hey there! Not regarding Paris but I saw you read Motherless Brooklyn. Good book! Another one you might want to check out that I just finished is called "The Company You Keep" by Neil Gordon ... I thought it was a pretty good read. Apparently it's supposed to be a summer book but I fall asleep within 10 minutes after I begin reading. .. definitely check it out if you're at a loss ..

I was just reading an article online about John Lennon and of course, the first thing I thought about was you! I figured you'd be remembering him :). You say Bruce Springsteen songs bring you back to your younger years..well..The Beatles is what brings me back! for sure!

You love the Beatles to? I have been working on my own Beatles post this morning. But I had to stop to work. Blah!!

Have a good day.

Rachel

I looked up your blog today (2nd time only I admit) because I wanted to see what you had to say about John Lennon. I don't understand how you find time to make your blog SO interesting!

Peyton

A couch? I have to clean the coffee from my computer screen now! :-) Seriously, I got a very funny mental image there.

I need to go read a few articles on John Lennon - I have to be completely honest, I don't know much about him. You can only be obsessed with one rock star at a time, right (Bono, of course).

Have a great day!

Wow I did the pink dot thing from your links on the right - it was really cool. I'm so easily amused!

I'm surprised the new biography of John Lennon isn't on your reading list on the left!

You've got to get a camera phone so that you can add pictures of your Amsterdam sightings!

  • Shakira fans shake it to "Hips Don't Lie"
I love me some Shakira. I love me some Wyclef Jean too. Put those two together and it's a heavenly match. And I've loved the song "Hips Don't Lie" for a while now - I didn't know they were going to do a second version of it TOGETHER! I love this video because it's all NORMAL people dancing like Shakira. I think I recognize my own self dancing in the bathroom mirror in every single one of these people. It really made me smile! (Click on Shakira - Hips Don't Lie (Fans Only Version))
